SAFETY / TRAINING

Safety is at the core of everything we do. Prioritizing safety protects our employees and our clients. Core Electrical Group’s safety protocol includes:

  • Extensive, ongoing training for all of our electricians, including OSHA 30-hour Construction Industry Outreach Training, a comprehensive safety program designed for workers in the construction industry.
  • A professional safety consultant, Stallion Safety Solutions, conducts classes regularly to ensure our employees have the latest training.
  • Stallion Safety Solutions also conducts safety audits at our job sites, ensuring our electricians are working as safely as possible and providing added value to our clients.

At Core Electrical Group, safety is more than a buzzword; it’s a Core value.

Here at Core Electric Group, Safety is our number one priority.

From our President being a former AGC chairman to making sure every rung on our ladders is solid every time we use one, safety always comes first. There is a lot that goes into running a job, and our employees have the training and experience to ensure the job gets done in the best and safest way possible. This is accomplished by following and exceeding OSHA guidelines.

TRAINING

IEC Apprenticeship Graduate Spotlight: Jonathan Campos

Jonathan graduated from the program in 2016 after completing four years of apprenticeship training, which included nearly 600 hours of classroom instruction and more than 8,000 hours of hands-on, on-the-job experience. He has since successfully passed the State of Texas journeyman exam and earned his state electrical license.

Jonathan is currently employed with Core as our Project Manager and Estimator, where he continues to apply his training and experience in the field and in the office.

Core is proud to support apprenticeship development by providing OSHA 10-hour construction safety training, CPR and First Aid certification, and ongoing training opportunities that support long-term growth in the electrical trade.
