President

A Master Electrician, Don has worked in construction and construction management since 1994. As president of Core Electrical Group, Don oversees the estimating, project management and design of all Core projects. His experience includes a strong emphasis on mission critical facilities, fast-track and complex projects, owner-occupied facilities and hospitals.

Other specialties include electrical systems such as emergency, life safety, UPS, PDU, generators, generator paralleling gear, inverter systems, fire alarm, nurse call and installations within hazardous environments.  He also has experience working on large, multi-year projects. Don is a graduate of the 2010 North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce Leadership Lab, an award-winning business leadership development program.

Director of Operations

Art has more than 25 years of experience in the electrical, security, voice /data, and audiovisual experience.  He is  a journeyman electrician and a member of the American Society of Industrial Security (ASIS) as well as Building Industry Consulting Service International (BICSI). In his role, he is responsible for overseeing all operations as well as financial performance.  Art is a graduate of the 2010 North San Antonio Chamber of Commerce Leadership Lab.

Superintendent

As general superintendent of Core Electric, Mark oversees all work crews, safety issues and procedures, project preparation and material ordering. Mark is also responsible for electrical design systems for projects, coordinating with CPS Energy and local governing bodies to ensure code compliance.

Accounting Assistant

Kelly has worked in the construction industry in various roles since 2010, from working as an executive assistant to marketing and accounting.  Her role at Core includes assisting our office operations and supporting continued growth.

Estimator

Jonathan started his electrical apprenticeship with Core in 2016. He has since completed his apprenticeship and is now a licensed journeyman.  Jonathan flourished in his career as a foreman and was promoted to the Estimator position. In this role, he will be responsible for pricing/estimating, value engineering, and procuring commercial electrical work in the New Braunfels, San Antonio, and surrounding areas.
