Electrical Assistant
Project Manager
Location: New Braunfels, Texas and San Antonio Metroplex

Position Overview:
The Assistant Project Manager supports the Project Manager in planning, coordinating, and executing electrical construction projects from pre-construction through project closeout. This role is ideal for someone looking to gain hands-on experience in managing commercial, industrial, or institutional electrical construction projects.
A Project Manager Shall:
- Assist in managing all phases of electrical construction projects including budgeting, scheduling, procurement, and documentation
- Support the preparation and review of project proposals, contracts, and change orders.
- Coordinate with field teams, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients to ensure timely and quality execution.
- Help maintain up-to-date project documentation including RFIs, submittals, material tracking logs, and meeting minutes.
- Assist in identifying and resolving project issues, including technical challenges and scheduling conflicts.
- Monitor job costs and help prepare project billings and forecasts.
- Participate in on-site visits and inspections to ensure compliance with safety and quality standards.
- Collaborate with engineers, estimators, and administrative staff as needed.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in the electrical or construction industry preferred.
- Familiarity with electrical systems, blueprints, and construction documents.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with construction software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, AutoCAD) is a plus.
- Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to multitask while staying organized.
